In the early 1990s, investment opportunities in India were limited, and awareness of equity investing remained relatively low. During this period, a group of Chartered Accountants played an important role in the establishment of the Cochin Stock Exchange following approval from the Controller of Capital Issues.

As one of the early members of the Cochin Stock Exchange, Gabin Capital Markets commenced operations in the equity market with a strong emphasis on financial literacy.

Inspired by this vision, P.K. Abraham and Mrs. Omana Abraham founded Gabin Capital Markets Ltd. as a private limited company in 1991. In 1992, the company became a public limited company, continuing its commitment to providing trusted financial and investment services.

For more than three decades, Gabin Capital Markets has continued to serve its clients with the same principles of integrity, trust and professional service upon which the company was founded.

P.K. Abraham, a retired Chief Engineer from the Kerala State Irrigation Department, is the visionary founder and director of Gabin Capital Markets Ltd. With decades of expertise in finance and investment, he has been pivotal in shaping the financial landscape for numerous investors. He spearheaded a financial literacy campaign, introducing individuals from diverse backgrounds to the world of investments. Mrs. Omana Abraham

Mrs. Omana Abraham has been at the helm of Gabin Capital Markets Ltd. since its inception. By pioneering the introduction of shares and mutual funds to her peer group and subsequent generations, she has fostered a culture of informed investing.
